it's not a case of handing over access, but rather just a common sense approach .
Telstra would get very lucrative lease fees. they can basically name their own price.
but the bottom line is this- a lot of Aussies are doing it tough and can't afford the copious costs of Telstra plans. but still, they are either located in the bush or travel to it.
that is why they are with cheaper providers.
and that my friends is exactly why Bill Shorten will be able to convince the ACCC to do a turnaround- it is exactly what Aussies want to hear and the cross benches will suck up to their master-Bill.
