just a guess, but maybe their are more aussie $$ exposed to the subprime than we realize. lets face it, Howard has been sucking up to the US so much that we probably have nearly as many US$ as they do. China has more, but thats another story. We have buuggger all gold in the reserve coffers, so..we are Ratshchitt I suppose.
