If you look at the easting and northing of both of the hole 1 charts they are slightly different and the dip of the holes is a whole 5deg different which is actually quite alot. To me this says they drilled the 140m in the wrong spot and at the wrong strike and dip so they continued on until the Geo could tell them exactly where and how to drill that hole.

Good observation!

But if I remember correctly they had to stop drilling hole 1 because they did run out of drilling rods. So they had to redo it. Probably "fine tuned" the settings to get even better results.

Also means that the results we get for hole 1 may actually be the results of hole 1A and 1B. Probably both being excellent!
