Blockbusters have 2 weeks to make half their money. Whatever they've turned over after 2 weeks, double it, that's what they'll earn in total. Then take half that off and give that to the studio, less another $100m for marketing worldwide

Basically, everything goes into the first 2 weeks. If the bums dont go on seats in teh first 2 weeks its finished.

MSM is the same. It is not an indie sleeper. It is a blockbuster budget film so it needs to go viral, catch the attention of "influencers" in schools, and go hard, very quickly, via Snap and Insta.

If this hasn't exploded by Christmas it is dead in the water. You can't re-release the same film twice. Same with MSM. It could be Deadpool or Avatar, you'll know within 2 weeks if it is.

Otherwise it is 5c by Christmas
