Well, here is my spin on it. The company is basically saying that we are raising money and we are offering stock to all shareholders IF they wish to participate. If shareholders do not want to partake, then we will gladly offer our 2 board members 300,000 dollars each worth of stock.

Can you imagine if VOLT would have said we are offering 2 of our board members 300,000 each but you the shareholders will not be able to buy any extra shares on the same terms.

I picked up some more shares recently at these levels . I consider them to be a good punt. The fact that these guys were willing to buy more stock themselves IF they are available , only further convinced me that it's a reasonable punt under the circumstances.

I am happy to be proven wrong.

In 3 months times I will have a better idea of whether it was the right decision. I have taken a 2 year view on this investment.
