Didn't you notice gold stocks rising strongly on overseas markets Friday night? Including when the Dow was down a few hundred points?
TMR after all IS a gold stock.
The simple fact of the matter is that while markets in general will continue to be spooked, certain sectors will decouple from your financials etc. and rise.
That INCLUDES gold stocks.
You have presented the typically incorrect reason for NEVER investing in gold shares.
If you seriously believe gold shares are only worth holding while stock markets are generally bullish then there is of course absolutely no point ever buying gold shares, because in those conditions other sectors will outperform gold shares. lol
