    Hi
We went from a conservative horse and cart to a Model T where travel now came with a price tag. With the then mind set , most thought this was ridiculous to pay for something that did the same, a - b. But with oil we went on to bigger and faster machines and the automobile was suddenly parked up in peoples garages, warehouses, etc Oil was King.
The move to battery powered will do so at present cost or cheaper as time rolls on. Added to this is a greater awareness of Global climate. We are dependent on battery powered devices. From your torch to a spacecraft (Cassini probe 13years in flight)... And Home battery storage...Oil has been dying for some time now. It has never offered the 'reach' that this new tech can deliver. Lithium as the main 'drive' for this disruptive tech has a long way to go yet. As governments see a way to implement the change into the government purse, this growth has to abound ... just like oil did,ie (that is),taxes, bowser prices, etc.
As the tech evolves: cars, buses, trucks... we have many years if not longer to implement this cheaper ,greener technology.
Added to this is the economic separation from the disastrous GFC that has 'floored' most economies for nearly ten years. A means of removing oneself from the stagnant economic dull-drums, (Australia forecasting a recession 2018). An ongoing supply of Lithium as the present tech will be absorbed into the growth of modern living despite it becoming more available. From the T Ford's world population of 1.5 billion to today's 7 billion plus, with extremely desirous expanding nations (India,China,South America block, etc)
I do not see it as a supply demand issue but rather a Governmental 'turn about face' as they change from one power source to another. An enormous task 'without' unsettling the masses of their independent populations.
PLS has the stable, sustainable resource to deliver over a very long time with this mindset. As one poster said "the FMG of today" . Let us hope it stays here in this sunny nation of ours...
If the two 'boys' with wild haircuts stay 'in check' we may very well see the growth of a new Top Tier mineral provider.
