Its believed that the NFL mobile applications has users of anywhere form 5-10 Million. That is a starter estimate apparently. I would say closer to 15.
But, if people consider the amount of potential users of ALL Verizon applications, the SDK could prove extremely fruitful for SYT. Go90 has a similar download rate to NFL mobile. In fact, appbrain shows recent downloads of 1Million. That is substantial in itself.
Based on an estimated 10% of downloads to users, you could estimate they our active users for all Verizon applications (without specifics on Appflash) would be around 7,310,000 active users across the data free applications.
7,310,000 x .05c (this is based off another users post, however, seems reasonable) = $365,000 by using the applications once. IF it is genuinely per use of the application, of course they get excited discussing NFL potential with 256 games played across a 17 week period.
$365,000 x 65 (a quarter of all games played) = $23,725,000.
That would be interesting.
Anyway, looks like we will need to wait and see what happens!
