Interesting find on second look over the FY17 full year results.
2.4 Elite wearables business: (page 17)
Elite wearables revenue: 26.4m
Then down the bottom in small print:
"Statutory wearables segment recorded revenue of $27.4m (includes prosumer revenue)
Given this prosumer market is one of CAT's 3 key pillars I have no reason why more wasn't/hasn't been made of this?
And how much of the $1m difference is due to prosumer sales?? What do they expect us investors to make of the comment?? Just guess!!
I love the business and the opportunity that lies in front of CAT but the SP is being slaughtered due to churning through cash yet they do nothing to help investors fill in the gaps between the story and opportunity that lies ahead and the revenue coming in and out.
