saw something on tv last night, and even if watso forgets the exact numbers it was along the lines of "that the cost of living has increased by $70 pw, accordingto acoss" the included a few things, like rent - and bread. the price of bread was shown to be $4 per loaf. watso was a bit gob smacked as he only pays $1.10 for a 680 gm loaf. if he gets the bread maker out, it is even cheaper
