"non ethnic Australians" is a racist statement.
You are either Australian or you are not. I was born in Australia but have close ties with my heritage. If I was called up to fight and protect Port Phillip Bay from invaders, I would without hesitation.
What Yak posted was very general as these type of events is news everywhere in the world, not only Australia.
My older cousin told me, that when he attended Primary and High school there was severe bigotry towards him and his race.
It boils down to ignorance by the parents and their families not the behaviour of the children.
