Yep - you're right on that respect. I certainly bought too early.
Sometimes I don't see the full picture, but I have not sold yet, and although the price is crashing through the floor as we speak, I am not really fussed - and all it will mean to me is a reduction in profits in 1-2 months time.
Yes, I wish I had held off a few days.
Yes, I don't always get things right.
And definitely, my TA isn't perfect - but its not too bad either. And although I have been suggesting significant caution for BHP trades, and the fact that I had a initial downside target of 35.75 about a week before the top, I think you can be sure that things from a TA point of view work out just fine.
With respect to todays market action, the break of $34 is significant - however we shall soon see.
I had a stop at 33.99 which I removed today, perhaps in folly, but I am confident that BHP will rebound sharply in the near future.
