Due to the bloody-mindedness of the Coalition Australia has been caught with its power pants down around its ankles. Until renewable energy infrastructure comes up to speed Australians should be asked to moderate their power use when it's safe to do so - including businesses and large corporations!

As for holding on to filthy old coal-fired power stations or building replacements for them - that's akin to blokes urinating into the wind.
