OK, so posters should say that the buying activity and resultant rise of the SP in the lead up to the announcement makes one extremely suspicious that this activity may have been motivated by prior knowledge of the contents of the announcement. Are you good now?
This has the potential of an amazing story and I'm going to keep a close eye on GSW. In light of the 15-19 month delay before income will actually be realised from this agreement you have to wonder what risks this delay may bring. Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, but I take it that the automotive industry sector companies get to decide for themselves whether to opt in, so there is always the risk of a genuine competitor with an equivalent product/service emerging which these companies may choose to use instead if they can gain savings on the 20 cent transactions linked to this agreement. I'm tempted to try to buy in around $2, but I think I'll wait it out for a while to see if the hype and the SP subsides a bit. If it takes off, so be it.
