I used a statistical distribution to determine number of carats that fall within an average size group of 20 carats or above ( covers sizes 20, 21, 22, 23 carats ). So in the first inventory group only 0.0149% of carats in inventory are this size. I'm basically assuming here the "special" stones are the ones 20 carats or above.
In that group equates to about 334 carats of 210,000 portion of inventory ( or 15 stones ). Within that group of 15 stones I then assume 15% are "Upper Extra Fine".

Similarly carat sizes including the range 23 cts to 14 cts are only about 2% of inventory using the distribution method I used. So large stones are only a very small proportion of inventory.
