I doubt they're gloating. If the market has turned commissions will dry up along with volumes once the volatility is over.
The only commissions he is earning from me today are on the buy side. Selective buying but have a little more cash should the bloodbath continue.
If we see a full blown crash ie 10-20% coming up I will borrow and buy big time. No borrowings at the moment.
