SGH market cap fell from $2.7B down to $25m, it fell to 1% of its peak, there was a class action against SGH which settled for $36m. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-07-11/slater-and-gordon-settles-class-action/8696882.
If a class action against Vocus settled for 36m, that would be $0.057 per share, before they take their cut.
As investors we have to take some responsibility for our decisions, and no single decision by the company is responsible for a share price fall, its much fuzzier than that. But even if a class action did result in a company having to cover all losses, how would a company do that, any business would be bankrupt by such a decision.
