NYSE called on to explain sudden rise in dow index.. spokesman said a little old lady passing by just happened to find a stray Fed Reserve semitrailer parked outside NYSE loaded with $100 bills, so she thought the honest thing to do was invest it all on the dow.. until the rightful owner could be found, of course.. complete accident that it happened at the lows of the session.. NYSE has never before accepted cash but just wanted to help the lil ole lady..
