That number is probably realistic. Out of interest, about a year ago or so, I modelled the AORD over 25 years from 1980 to 2005. The real gain in share prices over that time, that is above inflation, averaged 3.6% per year. The AORD at 4000 at the end of 2005 fitted my model pretty well.

Everything seemed to point to a coming correction or crash ... but no one agreed with me ... so I kept most of my money in the share market ...

I do think the Biofuels industry is a good place to have shares though ... everything points to a good return from here.
