Oh no. I'm not saying there isn't an opportunity. Honestly I wanted to buy Bitcoin but I couldn't be bothered going through the process. I'm calling out on the people who are saying there is no bubble, and clearly there is. I never claimed there is no reason to buy bitcoin. But bitcoin has crashed 3 or 4 odd times now and it's soooooo common for people to buy at the peaks and then sell out after being disenfranchised by their investment (That's how bubbles work).
I may look into it once it crashes, but you never know when the final crash will happen or whether bitcoin actually has a long-term utility and value. I'd play a bit, but I wouldn't do a buy and hold strategy as that is just a complete gamble for me, and plus no one truly knows whether Bitcoin is the future currency. Sure it has benefits, but every product has a benefit or advantage, that doesn't ensure the long-term success of the product. Just like how Betamax was a superior product to VHS, but that didn't end well either despite its advantages.
