I stongly agree with you. Some years back here in adelaide the whingers put so much pressure on the government about it not being fair to hide speed cameras (give me a break, next armed robbers will say its not fair to have video surveillance), the govt ended up halting there use for a few months. The result, dramatically higher average speeds, accidents, fatalities and injuries. I know this from my own exerience (emergency service) and those of other services and insurance workers. When the cameras came back, down the figures went for all those nasties.
Turn on the radio, leave on time and cruise to arrive safely. Your car is not a time machine, you can't leave late and arrive on time.
