I would appreciate comment from any one that understands the position of the training division in some detail. It is disappointing that the company itself has not detailed this in a presentation after announcing FY 2017 results. The 1HY revenues for this segment was $18.3 m and around $25.5 m for the full year implying that 2nd half had revenues of $7.2 m. This is a big drop and despite Ross's spiel about focused development, it may be shrinking to oblivion. I know Integracom was sold back for a grand sum of $1 m. Anyone know how others are faring? It is hard to judge future performance in the absence of details about what is happening to training.
As for labor hire, margins were strong a few years back at 3.5-4% and then dipped to 2% at the same time as trouble hit the training business and has now crept back to 2.7%. Much will depend on it rising further to 3-3.5%. This company can yet fall into poor performance again if not carefully managed.
