In the short term, at least, I think that's quite the wrong way round. Can't see 'affordable hearing aids' contributing too much to the Oct or Jan sales figures. And if we want to get the sp out of this rut any time soon, those will be crucial.
In the longer term, who knows? The whole hearables market is still in its infancy, and NUH currently has a single Mark I product out there multi-tasking. Shouldn't be too long, I think, before the OTC audiology market gets its own product range and its own sales pitch. Potentially a very big market for them, sure, but not necessarily the biggest.
