Hi Primrose, someone once told me that the TGC cut off grades are dependant on what is profitable to mine based on your circumstances, eg prices, strip ratios etc. in your feasibility studies. So having a higher cut off just means for that mine it wouldn't be profitable to mine anything lower. So not necessarily a quality issue, just a mine specific profitability calculation.
So having a lower TGC cut off is pretty much irrelevant, just means it still profitable for you to mine it based on your feasibility assumptions.
Sounded sensible to me.
