With all the car manufacturers clambering to promises to make X-many EV's in Y-many years, with grandiose schemes and flashy presentations, along with various governments saying they will limit or ban ICE vehicles, all without announcing how they will supply their EV's with batteries, I've coined a name - the Liethium Bubble.
We can see it happening now. More and more car manufacturers are claiming they will make the most and the best (and some of the ugliest!) EV cars, trucks and lorries, buses, etc of the future.
They can't all promise and then achieve this at the same time with such a severe shortage of Lithium. It's marketing gone mad. I'm sure as time goes by the hype will increase - EV's with more range, more safely and creature comforts, self driving. And, by the way, cheaper. Their claims will get more extravagant in an attention-grabbing manner without any substance, thereby growing the Liethium Bubble.
Have we reached peak Liethium? No, not yet.
Cheers, SF.
