Did anybody read between the lines about the UK floods impacting 2H/2007 results? Or is this not an issue?
I believe natural disasters like the UK floods and huricane season in America may not be as big a deal as we believe. These events occur every single year around the same time each year. QBE is suppose to be the ultimate expert at managing risk so they would have provisioned for events such as these. These guys even provision for another earthquake in San Francisco.
Agree with you about keeping money for another shock on the market. If the situation was not dire, the fed would not have stepped in. I am only 60% invested.
