Jake,
Most would agree that there are a lot of things the B&M should have been doing to keep shareholders informed.
Bur alas, t'was but a fleeting promise of solid stewardship, corporate governance, business accumen, and enhanced value for sharholders.
Now we face a litany of instances where decent Management and pro-active Board oversight might have brought about different and better outcomes.
Until any wrong doings can be revealed and proven, we can only speculate about how things have gone so seriously and maybe even systematically wrong for shareholders. Will the true account of why and how we are where we are ever be told?
Meanwhile, I am very curious about whether anything about the situation has appeared in the WA business press, and/or whether the PR apparatus has been unplugged?
Although, I guess this is just a very minute matter in the bigger scheme of things for most folks.
