Basically are you suggesting that management weren't hiring the right people originally?
To assist with development of the CTL project, the company engaged the services of experts including:
Dr. Martin Gorbaty (based in the USA) an expert in coal conversion.
Dr. David Mclean (based in Australia) an expert on adapting microwaves for commercial use.

@Phildo The “engagement of Trench” wasn’t a first for GPP to engage experts to move a project along.

This was back in 2012 (yes it may be old, it may be the wrong era) but as I have also previously said, it was apparent some share holders were not happy with the company;s ability to get a project up and running. Yes we have had some technology changes, yes disruptive technology takes time, BUT it will take longer if you can't actually settle on something as with the competitors now more advanced that GPP are.

I would like someone, anyone to put a realistic figure on when we could actually build a "Pilot Plant"?
Bearing in mind, there has been a history of a "lack of interest" in the CTL dating back as far as 2011
The company also made an investor presentation to one of Australia’s largest independent stockbroking firms in June 2011 about raising $500,000 in a private placement (but there was no record of it or an announcement to the ASX). Unfortunately, there was insufficient interest (as in the Explanatory Memorandum and Notes Accompanying Notice of EGM 4.28) whereas the placement was made to Astron to provide working capital for the Company.
