Hi Spid, where did you get that from, certainly haven't heard of any existing operations having to stop because their licence is no longer valid. So if you already have a licence seems it's still valid, just subject to new legislation. Just IMHO though. Moratorium on issuing new licences though whilst they work out the effect of the rules I guess, one would imagine they may resume issuing normal Mining Licences quicker than Special mining licences due to less complexity given all the new rules re unconscionable that really only effect those with special provisions under MDA that are required with Special mining licence.
