I do not believe it is institutions that are buying - more like sophisticated investors. Patterson is acting as the broker for buyer and seller so they will have their cut both ways. Overall a good outcome, it reduces debt and adds more shares to the registry. It is possible that some of these investors have been offloading quick again to make a profit. After all .5c on a million shares is still $5,000. Then again some may hold out for the long term such as those purchasing for their SMSF.
