I cannot accept that God or any God, for that matter, has a pass mark set in stone to enter heaven.
Well,,,, it a pretty simple message really accept, highly educated and philosophical men it appears and as the Bible warns us to watch out for, have corrupted the simplicity which is in Jesus (can quote verse if you want).
You only need child like thinking, it initially was passed down via God to man, word of mouth.
So you have a God, who had a plan and that plan is wrapped up in the meaning of Word.
Before you speak, you have thoughts, ideas and plans, you then speak them out.
So God to communicate with man and for his words, created His Alphabet, hence He says, I am Alpha & Omega = A - Z and all the letters in between.
He then said, let there be light etc with His Word. He then said, let us make man and God himself actually made man.
Twas a few angel's he created by the breath of his mouth first.
Anyway through His word now known as The Word, Him and covers all his prior thoughts and plans and what he speaks, He gave instructions to man how they would need to abide in his creation and they are The Word of God.
God knowing all, new mans was going to think they were smarter than him and ignore his Word.
Fortunately, God had this covered because in his plans, he had Jesus pre-slain before the foundation of the world.
So at the right time, he did a deal with Mary, and she gave birth to Jesus whom God claimed as His only begotten Son and sent him into the world at the time Jesus was Baptized.
All the Prophets and forefathers were told of this future event, and Abraham in particular, rejoiced seeing a vision of this future day.
Anyway, God is actually a Spirit, the Holy Spirit and obviously His Word is part of him, can't be anyone else as the educated suggest. He anointed Jesus at his Baptism with His Holy Spirit with No limit, meaning Jesus received it within.
Well,,,, as you can imagine, The Spirit as I said is the Word as well, so NATURALLY because of this, Jesus spoke the Word of God.
God's Spirit he can obviously send anywhere and to as many places and people at anyone time, as he did.
Anyway and as you have heard, Jesus died because many refused to accept The Word, so now he would take the brunt of that and all you had to do was Believe The Word which now includes Jesus, (God's pre-plans) because God gave Jesus His Life Giving Word for us.
For this, God highly exalted Jesus and Jesus now has the name written which according to the Bible, no man knows (future) and that name as you would expect is after the Father, The Word and is The Word of God, because he brought his Fathers Word into the world like never before and died for it.
Jesus promised that he and God through the Spirit would dwell with and in those that abide in The Word.
Anyway, Jesus is coming again, some verses say God with him as well, to collect those that accept The Word and abide in it.
So currently we have God who is The Word, The Holy Spirit which Jesus has access to and now shares with us, and God is also Light and sitting beside him on his right hand side is Jesus who rose as human less blood with an immortal body that will never die again.
Some suggest and claim, their is a third up there, a being they call the Holy Spirit and the Bible tells us that story is from the father of lies satan and is in fact an Idol.
So as you say, imply, if The Word is abiding in someone, you WILL see it and no smart education will change that or is necessary.
How did this simplistic message get lost = by man and the Bible raises concerns that, corruption will likely happen by the one that led Eve astray.
But,,,,, God tells us in several places, if you fall away from the basic truths covered here (His first milk) he Will send delusions and you Will believe lies, hence why many will fight tooth and nail defending what they believe as they know no better.
But most SEEM to think, the likes of these verses are for those real bad cults = No, they are for everyone to pay attention to.
Wolves come in sheep's clothing = If you haven't actually read the Bible for yourself and not been led by others, You will not know.
