"Interesting the Yes voters always just gloss over the physical sex part of the relationship that attracted them to each other in the first place. "
pretty grand assumption there boyo
a. how would you know that - in a gay relationship
b. how would you know that in any relationship
I call that assumption pure and utter BS
many many times in life I have been sexually attracted to a person - and as soon as they opened their mouth - the attraction disappeared in a mist.
also many many times I have not noticed any sexual attraction at all to a person - but, was very attracted by their mind and their manner - and only after quite a while did a sexual attraction rear it's head.
as far as how life will go after the vote if the law legalises SSM - well, I don't see NZ falling apart - they still play cricket, rugby and have a lot of sheep - life seems to be going on just as normal.
They are probably our closest comparison - even though anyone who has lived with a kiwi - realises that the cultural differences are far greater than one would expect.
