I am using ANZ iress which was the old Power Etrade I never used their pro Etrade version . I have not had any specific problems with Iress - All I can think of is it may be a Java issue - Try using the Java removal tool to get all old versions off your computer - then reinstall the latest version of Java.
I use multiple screens and have to run 2 browsers because Java no longer works on chrome - I run iress on internet explorer and hot copper and everything else on Google Chrome
