Generally industry average PE companies also include dividend payments and also experience low volatility. Applying an average PE to burgeoning companies is meaningless given the inherent differences. Values 30+ are definitely more consistent with available statistics hence applied.
Of course there are a few recent naysayers spouting arguments based on PE and related - however when checking other forums including one for a mineral company with a PE of 101, such individuals nowhere to be found.
A ton of agendas, but the only one of interest is where the board steps up its game, gets real and starts putting its shareholders first. Not a lot to ask considering the 30m of our cash they have spent to date.
