Myer shares have jumped after Solomon Lew's Premier Investments, which owns a 10.8 per cent stake in the struggling department store, said it has requested a copy of Myer's shareholder registers.
Premier said it requested the registers in order to consider writing to Myer's members in relation to any resolutions proposed at Myer's annual meeting this year.
Myer stock is up 7.2 per cent at 78¢.
