Although I have the utmost respect for the company's management I think its a bit sneaky to release these new share issues at such times in the hope with all the good news getting bandied about the release gets swiped under the carpet.

Yes it not entirely fair and it's guaranteed to meet the LTI of 15/20% CAGR EPS. In my view though they deserve the shares. Management have done and amazing job getting the company to grow at this pace and become such a recognized brand. I think the board knows that Geoffrey is nearing retirement and deserves to be awarded these along with other executives who have done a great job.
