Hi guys, i tracked the REO prices (from ruidow) very closely. High was start of september: 490RMB/kg (incl. VAT). Now: 440 RMB/kg NdPr excl. VAT.
A drop by 50RMB = 7.53 USD >>> ~6.5 USD/kg (excl. VAT) NdPr less.
NdPr production ist nearly 6000kt/a. So this drop leads to 6.5USD/kg x 6000kt/a = USD 40m = 50.8m AUD less profit this year. I think this is very frustrating and can trigger lower sp slowly.
I hope (planning) that sp reached 24-27 cent by end of the year. But is see no REO price stabalization. I see a slowly price decreasing over the last 2 weeks and i don't think this will change.
If anyone think thats bullshit and i'm wrong, please tell me (i would be very happy)
