I've absolutely no disagreement with the good judge's sentencing but I find this statement a little paradoxical: "Passing sentence, Justice Cummins said Dupas did not suffer from any mental illness. "Rather you are a psychopath, driven by a hatred of women," he said. (ABC website on now) I find it paradoxical and oxym0r0nic, most probably because I'm not a psychologist and I have no thorough understanding of the meaning of the label "mental illness" to reconcile it with "psychopath" and with someone who commits a major crime, any crime, let alone such like those heinous ones that Dupas has committed. Does not a "psychopath" suffer from a mind-related illness?
