I just don't fall for the various extreme views of the scientific and political establishment (read: jobs, money, votes, money, prestige, money) that resonate with the likes of mjp and Bellcurve, who express a spiritual (if not almost pathological) need to be validated in their world view that CO2 emissions - a proxy for Capitalism and industrial progress - are sending the planet to Hell.
