i believe we are only seeing the beginnings of the effect from sept 11 when banks started handing out free money in order to calm fears. When people are down they like to spend money and buy material things in a pointless attempt to lift their spirits. Unfortunately the plan to sedate the people with GOODIES until we could conquere foreign lands and 'spread democracy','obtain oil' or whatever you believe we are doing in the Mid East aint workin'
