Without taking credit away from what Pilbara have done for the market in the past few days it does make it incredibly interesting from my perspective as a speculator.
Today I was excited to meet someone from the media.. They wanted to talk about lithium and also Galaxy and my perspective where things were headed.
There is excitement from the fact that Pilbara have signed a automobile manufacturer.
I think that signing was great for the sector and have had conversation post the announcement with Ken Brinsden since it occurred.
Ken is a good guy.. I mean that genuinely.. He took the time to allow me to interview him on the Pilbara thread as I shared it and showed me up a little on his journey.
The Lithium industry is still small despite these pop up shops that regularly appear... And this isn't a criticism on any of them, it's just they made it look like a lithium bubble.
But with that said, a lithium bubble can only really occur if the supply meets the demand.
It isn't easy... If it was how many would be here within the next 12 to 24 months?
There is going to be an insatiable demand for what Galaxy and any potential supplier will sell... Not many will make it, and like in the past those we thought could won't..
It's always interesting to read old articles about lithium and the companies that were around the then.
Nemaska survived and only just did Galaxy with the steering hand of Anthony Tse and that of Martin Rowley that with the major holders placed him into the position.
Martin saved us long term holders from what might have been certain death.. But by the same token Iggy knew how to spruik the stock and had th vision to bring Ravensthorpe together for a larger life of mine which has gold, incense and myrrh to the north... Merry Christmas!
I've always chosen Galaxy as my investment based on the possibilities...
And as someone pointed out it doesn't matter who Galaxy sells their lithium too as long as the market likes it.
So what if it is GS Yuasa with a royalty in battery production..
Or Panasonic for all that matters?
Well, if it is Panasonic and Elon Musk turns up and signs on the dotted line with Anthony Tse... Things around here become incredibly interesting.
Just look at the Tesla share price..
And that would allow Galaxy to be able to do so me extraordinary things..
Market Cap brings also with it incredible power.
Being humble though I just hope Galaxy finds a way to secure royalties in battery production.
It might weather the future storm ahead if lithium prices become turbulent.
But Galaxy has been holding out for some time now.. Like a beautiful girl in the corner of a dance just waiting for the right Batchelor to come along.

With any particular deal GXY enters into would the lithium be sourced from Mt Caitlin only, or would early sales come from there and then James Bay or SDV once they became operational? I did have a look at recent announcements etc, but couldn’t find any timeframes for when production commences at the two latter projects.
