Ann: Trading Halt, page-20

Presuming you don't know ( & p'raps a few posters ) :
To my knowledge, & in my experience the ASX suspends trading for up to their 15 minute period before releasing to brokers etc. the relevant Ann.

On Commsec's website Quotes Page the r.h. side column will show the Co'.s Trading Status line as :
Pre-Open
right at the start of the 15-min. period, even though that same page may not actually state that an Ann has already been made.
Your broker's website Quotes Page should also contain similar info.

If that Ann is for a Trading Halt then the Halt remains as such for 2 trading days including the day of the Ann, or terminated earlier when the Co. makes a 2nd Ann, the subject briefly described in its request to the ASX, being the 2nd half of the Halt Ann.

If that 2nd Ann is not made by the start of trading on the 3rd trading day following the date of the Halt Ann then the ASX automatically suspends indefinitely, trading in the Co. shares, until the Co lodges its request, with the ASX, to lift the suspension and simultaneously making that 2nd Ann.
If the ASX is not satisfied with the content of that 2nd Ann - e.g. it maybe another Ann that the ASX considers is not adequately related to the subject for which the Halt was sought, then the ASX will continue with the suspension until it receives the Ann which is. Guata
