anguish

I seriously wonder whether management of companies such as LUM understand how much anguish shareholders of "their" company actually have. The management collects an income, often in the order of $200k+ per year and therefore will be "mighty fine" while the company continues to stay afloat, while the shareholders get no benefits at all except to see their investment either evaporate or stagnate depending on the performance of the share price. Like TheFerret, I find it hard to believe ATM that the LUM management have any interest in the share price at all. It is fine trying to improve the fundamentals of the business, but in reality, shareholders primarily become invested in companies so that financial wealth increases. This has not been the case with LUM and based on the lack of stockbroker promotion of LUM (d/t no presentations by LUM management), lack of media attention, occasional project updates by management, etc the share price languishes at an all time low of 1.3c. I believe the management have a responsibility to both build a successful company and look after shareholder's interests by promoting investment in the company by shareholders and the investment community.
The company deserves to have a higher cap. than $3mill - why doesn't it and what are LUM management going to do about it. I don't want to have my money sitting in LUM for the next 5 years while the management continue to collect $200k + year, the company breaks even but the share price drifts between 1.3c and 1.6c. We all deserve better than this
