Very true on the number of holes, but it's not hundreds. You don't need hundreds if your ore body is uniform and boring as a brick. Thats why there's low barriers to entry into magnetite resource hunting, it take SFA effort to plug a dozn hols into a banded iron formation and get a billion tonnes of the junk.
but then you hit the hurdle of economics, grinding, capital costs, etc.
