you need to control a well,, its a fine balance of not putting in too much mud and risk damaging the formation, and losing the well and having to stop and withdraw. ala NT..
increasing mud weight puts pressure back against the formation, and allows circulation and drilling to continue..
thats how i understand it..
if you have increased the mud to that degree and still have massive flares,, then its absolutely brilliant news..
the fact its continues for such lengths and at such pressures and the flouresence included makes sugarkane a significant play..
in my view it will prove up to be a major new discovery,,, multi tcf..
i find it difficult to believe anyone would sell right now, you have to allow the brokers their fun on the way through,, but the holders,, i dont think you will see a mass exit any time soon!! this is brilliant news..
