You're right Rastis. Zip stated that they purchased Pocketbook to access data analytics on customer spend and to unify Zip's digital wallet and money management into a single platform.
In Zip's recent annual report, it was mentioned that they had planned a number of modifications and enhancements for Pocketbook. I suspect it will be paid services enhancements like the recent tax return app by Pocketbook.
No mention of advertising source of revenue, but your point is a good one.
