300 barrels of oil per day is worth over AUD $9 million dollars to BKP gross annual revenue.

Calculations as follows:

AUD $85 (gross value of barrel of oil) x 365 (days in year) x 300 (barrels per day production) = AUD $9,300,000.00

300 barrels of oil per day assumes BKP has secured a 21.5% interest in the La Punta field. This may be optimistic given that they have said that they could finance out of current cash reserves. We will not know the nature of the deal until the announcement so all just speculation for now.
