In regards to whether the gas will be sweet or not, Wortel, a commercial gas discovery 10kms from Kurnia, has no carbon dioxide or hydrogen sulphide in the gas:
"Preliminary analysis of the gas samples drawn from the Wortel-1 well indicates that the gas is sweet without presence of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide."
