Towie, more cops on the road and visible at that, do get drivers to slow down. Problem is the cost to have the numbers required would be prohibitive. Speed cameras do cause a lot of angst amongst drivers and the debate as they are just there to raise revenue will go on for ever. What other option is there. Its the same as booze buses. People still drink and drive and drivers will still speed.
