I learnt a long time ago that when people start comparing current market action to previous market action and expecting it to follow suit exactly - It never works...
Have seen it over and over - like the other week when someone was comparing the 1929 market to the present and expecting it to follow to the day - at the time I was not at all certain what the market was going to do - but I knew exactly what it would NOT do.....
